Other than a few rather brazen/clumsy voter suppression efforts in some battleground states (i.e. ACORN, etc.), McCain doesn't seem to have Bush's Rove/Diebold mojo. (He also doesn't have the CIA Director at his beck-and-call with "authenticated" tapes at the ready for Just The Right Moment either...) The suppression efforts might keep Obama from being able to claim a "landslide" (and, thus, a "mandate"), but; considering the current poll numbers; a McCain victory is looking less and less assured everyday no matter what his surrogates would have you believe.
